Day 137: Pappadeaux

Tonight I went out with a guy I met on Plenty of Fish; he took me to dinner at a nearby Cajun seafood restaurant called Pappadeaux. I finally settled on the Atlantic Salmon Yvette, char grilled salmon with shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms and spinach in a Monterey jack cheese sauce, served with a side of dirty rice. It was amazing. Which is more than I can say for my date. Better luck next time. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to having my leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Pappadeaux is Ted's favorite restaurant. At least you had a good dinner!

Sounds like Yet Another Learning Experience. At least you got some food out of it.

We went to a Ruby Tuesdays for lunch, before a trip to Books-A-Million. I had the spaghetti squash, with zucchini and red pepper marinara. Oh and a side of sweet potato fries. It was awesome, but Chris's food came out with chicken rather than shrimp and they refilled my glass with sweet tea instead of unsweet. They credited our ticket for that, but still.
Glad you tried something new and that you recognized it was better to acknowledge it's ok to eat by yourself, rather than trying to "force" it.

Indeed, Leslie! I didn't realize that Pappadeaux is a chain. The food is fabulous!

That spaghetti squash sounds delish, and I adore sweet potato fries! I eat by myself quite a bit, go out to lunch alone frequently as a matter of fact. It's not a problem at all!
