I started another scarf yesterday, and decided to try the Mistake Rib Scarf pattern from Wendy Knits. However, since I am using worsted weight yarn, I adapted it slightly, using size 9 knitting needles and casting on 23 stitches, then following Wendy's instructions to K2, P2 to the last three stitches, then K3, and repeating every row. I completed only about three inches before exhaustion overcame me and I haven't had a chance to get back to it today. But I love the way this variation of the rib stitch lays flat and am very pleased with the yarn I selected, Patons Classic Wool in Good Earth. I will keep you posted on my progress!
